Join Durham Young Professionals  and Chapel Hill-Carrboro Chamber Young Professionals Network for a social event at Aloft Chapel Hill, 1001 South Hamilton Road Chapel Hill on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 5:30pm-7:30pm .  Bring a donation for Partners for Youth that helps kids connect with healthy snacks.  Bring healthy snacks like no sugar added fruit cups, dried fruit, granola or cereal bars, nuts, fig newtons, fresh fruit, or a $5 donation to help two children receive a healthy snack after school. Come mingle with the best and the brightest of the Triangle.  Info and RSVP here.

MARK YOUR CALENDARS!  Thursday, December 13, 2012, 5:30pm-7:30pm Holiday Social and Networking Event at West End Wine Bar, Durham.  Come enjoy the holidays with the area's finest young professionals with beer and wine specials, and food.  Check www.dypnc.org soon for more info and to register for the event. During this event, DYP will be collecting items for City of Durham's Christmas Shoebox Project: books, school supplies, hats, gloves, socks, T-shirts, hygiene items (like a toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, and a bar of soap), or toys (dolls, balls, small cars, stuffed animals). Shoeboxes will benefit local Durham Parks and Recreation participants who may otherwise not get presents on Christmas Day.
